TEZPUR - BOMDILA – TAWANG – DIRANG – NAMERI – ZIRO – TEZPUR - GUWAHATI

DAYWISE ITINERARY:

 

DAY 01: TEZPUR – BOMDILA 

เดินทางถึงสนามบินเมือง Tezpur รถรอรับที่สนามบินเพื่อเดินทางต่อไปเมืองบอมดิลา (Bomdila) ระยะทางเพียง 150 กิโลฯ แต่ใช้เวลา 5 ชั่วโมง แวะหยุดพักเช็คเอกสารที่ Bhalukpong เขตแดนระหว่างรัฐอัสสัม กับ รัฐอรุนาจัลประเทศ

ระหว่างทางแวะเที่ยวสวนทิวลิป Tippi Orchid Garden ถึงที่เมืองบอมดิลา เข้าที่พักแบบโฮมสเตย์ตามอัธยาศัย

DAY 02: BOMDILA – TAWANG

Today after early breakfast we visit the Bomdila Monastery and then proceed for Tawang (195 kms/ 09 hrs drive), enroute we will visit Sela Lake at Sela Pass (13476 ft), Jashwant Ghar and Nuranang Falls (also known as Jung Falls), reach Tawang and check into hotel and overnight stay.

Arriving time in Tawang approx would be 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

Tawang:

The name TAWANG derives from some bearings on surroundings. But people's interpretation is that the name TAWANG was given by Mera Lama in the 17th century.  One can reach Tawang from other parts of the country via Guwahati and Tezpur in Assam. From Guwahati (Assam) or Tezpur (Assam), one has to go to Bhalukpong in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh and from there via Bomdila and Sela Pass one can go to Tawang by road.

DAY 03: TAWANG

Today after breakfast we will go for a full day excursion in Tawang in and around, we will visit the Tawang War Memorial, Tawang Monastery, Ani Gonpa, Urgelling Monastery and Art and Craft emporium of Tawang and explore the local markets. Evening enjoy the sound and light show at War Memorial. Overnight stay at Tawang.

DAY 04: TAWANG – DIRANG

Today after an early breakfast we drive to Dirang (150 kms / 07 hrs drive), reach Dirang and check into hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight at Dirang.

DAY 05: DIRANG - NAMERI

Today after breakfast visit Dirang Monastery, Dirang Dzong and drive back to Nameri.  Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Nameri.

DAY 06: NAMERI – ZIRO

Today morning after breakfast drive to Ziro (250 kms / 07 hrs drive). Overnight syat at Ziro.

 Ziro is located in the lower Subansiri District, at an elevation of 1688m above sea level and 164km drive from Itanagar (capital of Arunachal Pradesh). Ziro is home to the Apatani people, a non-nomadic, agrarian tribe. The Apatani people are environmentally conscious community who practice wetland cultivation, instead of the dry land one, which involves the burning of the forest. The paddy farms here double as fish cultivations, with farmers using traditional irrigation techniques to rear fish in knee deep water. The UNESCO has even proposed for the Apatani culture landscape’s inclusion to the list of World Heritage site for the tribe’s high agricultural productivity and unique conservation practices.

 

DAY 07: ZIRO

Today we will explore the villages of the Apatani Tribes, there are several villages in the Apatani Valley but the most popular are Hong Village, Hari Village, Hija village and Bulla village, we will also visit the paddy fields, Apatanis are famous for their rice cultivation process. Overnight stay in Ziro.

 

Note: We can organize a traditional dance of the Apatani Tribes if you wish.

 

DAY 08: ZIRO - TEZPUR

Morning after breakfast drive to Nameri / Tezpur. Overnight stay at Tezpur / Nameri.

 

DAY 09: TEZPUR TO GUWAHATI

Today morning after breakfast go for a boat ride (country boat) in Brahmaputra River in search of River Dolphin (Gangetic Dolphin). Later drive to Guwahati. Reach Guwahati and check in hotel. Evening free for leisure or you can do some local sightseeing or Sunset Cruise in Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

DAY 10: GUWAHATI

Morning after breakfast drives to Guwahati Airport for your onward destination.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Ø  Hotels in Arunachal Pradesh Non star category

Ø  Special permit is required to enter Arunachal Pradesh, we would require the VALID PASSPORT, VISA, AIR TICKETS TO INDIA AND ENTRY AND EXIT DATE TO INDIA. All the documents can be sent to us by scan or courier in our given address.

Ø  Road condition in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram are not good including some parts of Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya.

Ø  We avoid to take tours in Monsoon Season (June, July and August) however some places in Northeast are best during this season.

Ø  Guest with adventurous mind should travel to Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and some parts of Northeast India.

Ø  In this region there are no relevance between the distance and time travelling as it depends upon the conditions of roads and congestion of traffic.

Ø  Mobile services may not be active in all destinations. Pre-paid roaming and International roaming connection does not work in this region.

Ø  Credit Cards / Traveler’s cheque are not freely accepted.

Ø  Every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary, in view of local strikes, landslide etc., which are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries are subject to last moment changes and any additional cost, will be borne by the guests directly.

Ø  Please do note that the car will be there with the clients for 09 hrs and over and above that it would be chargeable.
